Board inducts seven members

The Board of Trustees inducted five new and two re-elected members at its October meeting.
New charter trustees inducted to six-year terms were Jeffrey A. Barist, partner and chair of national litigation in the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, New York City; and Gerald C. Harvey, vice president, secretary and general counsel, Trans-Technology Corp., Liberty Corner.
Two re-elected members were also inducted as charter trustees. They are Vesta M. Godwin, executive director of 10,000 Mentors, Newark; and Eileen L. Poiani, professor of mathematics and executive assistant to the president at St. Peter's College.
New alumni trustees are Anthony J. DePetris, director of operations and programs, Campus Boulevard Corp., Philadelphia, and member of the Camden College of Arts and Sciences/School of Business/University College-Camden Alumni Association; and Rochelle Gizinski, certified civil trial attorney and partner in the law firm of Abazia & Gizinski of Carteret. Gizinski is a former president of the Rutgers Alumni Association.
A new public trustee, Kevin E. Kennedy, attorney with the law firm of McLaughlin Bennett Gelson & Cramer of Neptune, was appointed by Gov. Christie Whitman.
