Former acting Gov. Richard J. Codey received the Rutgers Award for Public Service to New Jersey for Excellence in Governance. Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick conferred the award during halftime at the Rutgers vs. Pittsburgh men’s basketball game Jan. 18. Recommendations for the award are managed by the community affairs office in the department of university relations. In addition to the award, Gov. Codey received a standing ovation accompanied by chants of “Codey! Codey! Codey!” |
