An "Introduction to Disaster Services" course is being offered free to students, faculty and staff from 7-10 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Wesley Fellowship house, 91 College Ave., in preparation for forming an American Red Cross Disaster Response unit at Rutgers. Volunteers serve on the front lines in disaster situations -- running shelters, giving medical assistance, finding social services and distributing food and clothing. Those interested in taking the prerequisite course and others already certified in disaster response who want to join the unit should register with Rev. Ellen Little at (732) 249-5800 or at wesleyrutgers1784 @yahoo.com.
