Getting there on Route 18 Archived article from Sep 2, 2002   The latest information on construction of an $80 million extension to Route 18 in Piscataway can be found at a new Rutgers Web site. The site, route18update.rutgers.edu/, includes traffic information as well as maps and bulletins on the status of the work, which will replace a portion of Metlars Lane. A team of university administrators and DOT officials are working to minimize the impact of the construction on university operations.
