Honoring Sen. Wynona Lipman Archived article from Jan 28, 2000   The late Sen. Wynona Lipman, a longtime New Jersey lawmaker who championed the rights of women and children, has been honored with the establishment of the Sen. Wynona Lipman Chair in Women's Political Leadership at the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics. Legislation creating the Lipman chair and appropriating $100,000 for its first year passed both houses of the legislature without opposition and was signed by Gov. Christine Todd Whitman Jan. 6.
