McCormick named State Theatre trustee

The board of trustees of the State Theatre in New Brunswick has elected President Richard L. McCormick to serve as the newest member of its governing board.
“The board of trustees at the State Theatre continues to grow with experience and expertise,” said State Theatre President and CEO Mark Hough. “We are very grateful for the participation of Dr. McCormick. This shows a new commitment Rutgers has for downtown New Brunswick, and it will help us maintain a strong foundation for a remarkable future.”
The State Theatre, located at 15 Livingston Ave., presents a season of performing arts, including international orchestras, opera and dance performances, musical theatre, Broadway artists, family theatre, educational events, and cultural and world music. The 1,800-seat concert hall attracts more than 300,00 patrons each year.
