New calendar to help fight breast cancer year-round Archived article from Nov 10, 2000   In an innovative approach to raising funds for and awareness of breast cancer in the state, the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research (NJCCR) has published the 2001 Breast Cancer Calendar, with original artwork donated by 12 artists whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The calendar is a project of the New Jersey Breast Cancer Research Fund, created by the Legislature to fund breast cancer research in the state.
