Recycle your computers Archived article from Apr 26, 2004   Faculty and staff are asked to participate in an Earth Day recycling program. Through May 14 Rutgers will be offering a one-time, free pick up of surplus computers and electronics for faculty and staff only. Instructions and campus pick-up schedules are available at www.material.rutgers.edu and rehs.rutgers.edu. This program is sponsored by the departments of Environmental Health and Safety, and Facilities Operations and Material Services. The effort promotes proper disposal of electronic equipment and gives departments a chance to clean out their offices. Separate pick ups are scheduled for the Camden campus (Wednesday, May 26) and for the Newark campus (Wednesday, June 2). For more information, contact Peter Shergalis, event supervisor, at 5-2255.
