Sharpen your management skills Archived article from Jan 25, 2002 By Pam Orel   Rutgers employees who wish to sharpen their management skills can receive tuition assistance through a new program of the Center for Management Development, which offers a range of certificate programs for managers, supervisors and technical specialists. The center will allow department-sponsored employees to enroll in selected workshop certificate programs at 50 percent of full tuition. These include: The Leadership Development Series and Certificate Program The Human Resource Management Workshop Series and Certificate Program The Equal Employment Opportunity Workshop Series and Certificate Program The Labor-Management Relations Workshop Series and Certificate Program Essentials of Finance for Non-Financial Managers Program Essentials of Finance for Engineers, Scientists and Technical Professionals Program. Tuition assistance is also available for the center's supervisory and executive programs, which are five-day, residential programs held in the New Brunswick area. Qualified applicants can receive $750 in tuition remission. These programs include: Rutgers Supervisory Leadership Development Program Rutgers Advanced Management Development Program Executive Competencies and Leadership Program
