New Faculty Traveling Seminar

By Sue Burghard Brooks

Tenured or tenure-track faculty hired after December 2001 are encouraged to apply for
the second annual Rutgers New Faculty Traveling Seminar, taking place May 23 through May 27, 2005. “Garden State 101,” also described as “a living classroom” and “a weeklong smorgasbord of New Jersey’s rich heritage,” provides a unique opportunity for 35 faculty to join President Richard L. McCormick on an educational five-day journey across the state and to build connections and camaraderie. For additional information and an online application, visit travelseminar.rutgers.edu. Applications are due to the Office of Community Affairs, College Avenue campus, by Feb. 1, 2005. Participants selected for the seminar, and their department deans and chairs, will be notified the week of Feb. 21, 2005.
