Patrick Baldiserra, Student at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, died on June 26, 2007. Patrick was a member of the Camden College of Arts and Sciences Class of 2008.
Services will be held Saturday, June 30, at the Rone Funeral Home on 1110 East Chestnut Avenue in Vineland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. The obituary is online.
Patrick, 21, was known by the Rutgers-Camden community for his exuberance and energy, which uplifted everyone he met. He was well-known for his skills as a soccer player, and for his role as a leader on the Rutgers-Camden men's soccer team. One of the top Division III soccer players in the nation, he was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America after his junior season when he was named to the 2006 NSCAA/Adidas NCAA Division III All-America Third Team. He became the first NSCAA All-American since Rutgers-Camden Soccer became an NCAA program.
