Helen Donnelly, Retired Staff, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, died on January 31, 2008. Donnelly worked in the Douglass Library.
Helen Donnelly, 93, daughter of the late George and Mary Donnelly died at Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, where she had been a resident for three years.
She was a lifelong resident of New Brunswick and a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Church there. She was employed for over 40 years in the library at New Jersey College for Women, later to become Douglass College. She was predeceased by two brothers, George, who died in 1996, and John, who died in 2001, and a longtime companion, James White, who died in 1976. Surviving are a brother, Joseph and his wife, Jean of Bound Brook; a sister-in-law, Catherine Donnelly of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
