Howard J. Pachasa, Retired Staff, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, died on June 15, 2008. Mr. Pachasa was a member of the Rutgers-Newark Athletics Department.

Howard J. Pachasa, was born in 1956, in Plainfield, NJ, was raised in Piscataway, and had resided in Washington Township (Gloucester County) since 1986.
He graduated from Rutgers University in 1979 and served as assistant ticket sales manager until 1985. He then joined the University of Pennsylvania as manager of tickets and marketing. He later became assistant director of athletics for sports information and marketing for LaSalle University. Howard then joined the Rutgers-Newark athletic staff in 1995 as assistant director of
athletics for sports information and public relations. In 1995, Howard founded Megagraphics (named for his daughter, Megan) and
served as president of the multi-faceted marketing and public relations
firm that specializes in desktop publishing, Web site development,
communications and event management.
Howard's family includes his loving wife of 26 years, Donna Lynn Lazar
Pachasa; a daughter, Megan Elizabeth Pachasa at home; his parents, Howard
J. and Margaret Jenkins Pachasa of Piscataway; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, David and Diane Lazar of Maryland; sisters-in-law, Deanna
O'Driscoll and her husband, Dennis, and Deborah Calhoun and her husband,
Joseph; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
