Manuel Parada, Retired Staff, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, died on March 25, 2009. Mr. Parada was a member of the University Housing and Conference Services.

MANUEL "PAPI" PARADA
AGE: 74 EAST BRUNSWICK
Manuel "Papi" Parada, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. He was 74. Born in Marin, Spain, he resided in New Brunswick before moving to East Brunswick six years ago. Prior to retiring in 2005, Mr. Parada was a maintenance mechanic for Rutgers University, New Brunswick, where he worked for 20 years. He served as a Merchant Marine during peacetime.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Kazimiera Szwaja Parada; three sons, Peter Parada and his wife Vanessa of East Brunswick, Manuel Parada and his wife Kia of Eatontown, and Samuel Parada and his wife Raquel of East Brunswick; two step-daughters, Barbara and Halina Luczak; two sisters, Dorita and Elena; and seven grandchildren, Immanuel, Inayah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Damiana, Imani and Robert.
