Memorial Services were held at River Road Rescue Squad on February 14th 12:00 - 4:00 pm.
Denitsa was born in Bulgaria September 16, 1982 and resided in the United States since 2002. She attended Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts where she obtained a degree in Computer Science and Psychology in 2006. She then came to Rutgers where she was advancing studies for a Ph.D. in Computer Science and contributed to the development of the project for Programming Architectures for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles under Dr. Ulrich Kremer. She was actively involved in the activities of the department as a TA and as a representative of her fellow graduate students and was well known and appreciated by her students and colleagues alike. She is survived by her parents Nikolai and Snezha and her sister Elitsa who reside in Bulgaria.
