Jacqueline T. O'Dell, Jacqueline T. Cassera O'Dell, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at her home in North Brunswick. She was 78.
Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 5 p.m. only Sunday, Sept. 19 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20 from the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Born in New Brunswick, she had lived in Barnegat before moving to North Brunswick 12 years ago. Mrs. O'Dell was an administrative assistant for Rutgers University in New Brunswick for 18 years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick and was a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She was an avid supporter of Rutgers Athletics.
Predeceased by her first husband, Henry O'Leary who died in 1990, she is survived by her second husband, John R. O'Dell; two sons, Michael O'Leary of North Brunswick, and Sean O'Leary of Plainsboro; a daughter, Erin Williams and her husband Cliff of South Brunswick; a stepson, Michael O'Dell and his wife Glenda of Birmingham, Ala.; three grandchildren, Brandan Williams and Jonathan and Adam O'Dell; and two great-grandchildren.
