Scott G. Arnold, died on 10/26/2010.
Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
Scott G. Arnold, 27, of Manalapan, passed away suddenly while traveling in Texas.
Born in Princeton, he has lived in Manalapan most of his life. He was a graduate of Manalapan High School and Rutgers University. Scott was a Fire & Safety Officer for Rutgers University Fire Department for seven years, a senior deacon and member of the F&AM Union Lodge No. 19, New Brunswick, and a member of the Knights Templar. He was also treasurer of the Middlesex County Firefighters Association Local No. 3451. Scott generously volunteered his time to the Manalapan-Englishtown First Aid Squad and as a Manalapan volunteer fireman.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Anne Arnold of Manalapan; his brother, Kevin; and his fiancÚ Vanessa Chirichella.
