Mark N. Thomas, died on 11/15/2012.
Mark N. Thomas, 41, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Born in Plainfield, he resided in North Plainfield for eighteen years before moving to Hillsborough ten years ago. Mr. Thomas was a warehouse supervisor for Rutgers University where he has worked for the past twenty years. Mark enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his boys. He also enjoyed playing guitar and was the lead singer in the band Xplosive Kidd. He was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. Mark also loved the beach and enjoyed hiking. Some of his favorite places to hike were the Sourland Mountains and Raritan Canal.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Surviving are his beloved wife of six years, Katie; his two cherished sons, Bradley Hunter and Bennett Ryan; his dear mother, Cathy Thomas of Bridgewater; his beloved father, Gary Thomas and his wife, Carol of Long Valley; his adored brother; Chris Thomas and his wife, Kelly of Hillsborough; his maternal grandparents, Robert E. and Helen M. Oehler of Toms River; his loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Veronica Ruh-Venezia of Hillsborough, along with his extended family; and his many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, November 19 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638.
