Charles L.. Lang
Charles Louis Lang, Ed.D., 81, of Delaware, Ohio, a kind, loving, generous father and husband and friend to all, died Thursday evening, November 7, 2013, in Willowbrook at Delaware Run.
His career started in 1955 in Auglaize County as the 4H Agent in the Cooperative Extension Service of OSU. He was drafted by the Navy in 1956 and on completion of duty went to MSU to complete his MS degree and then served in the Extension offices of Kent and Calhoun Counties before returning to MSU in 1975 to complete his Ed.D. He then went to KSU as a 4-H Specialist in Leadership Development serving until 1988 and was inducted into Epsilon Sigma Phi. Charles then became the State Leader of 4-H at Rutgers University of N.J., retiring as professor emeritus in 1993.
