James Moffatt (80) died on October 26, 2014. He was a professor of journalism for 29 years at Rutgers University–Camden.
He also worked as a copy editor at the Inquirer for 32 years before his retirement in 1996. A highlight of his career was sharing in a Pulitzer Prize in 1980 for Inquirer coverage of the Three Mile Island nuclear disaster.
Services are held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, at Christ Episcopal Church (305 Main Street) in Riverton, New Jersey.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 31, at the Weber Funeral Home (112 Broad Street) in Riverton.
Burial is at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Medford, New Jersey.
